NORAH AMANYA

Norah Amanya is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a Partner at Moonstone Advocates.

She advises multinational and local clients on complex commercial transactions, corporate governance, and matters across Uganda's commercial, extractives, energy and infrastructure sectors.

She has 11 years of experience spanning private practice and in-house leadership. She previously served as General Counsel at CITI Global, where she led the legal function and advised on corporate governance, commercial transactions and legal risk management.

Before that, she served as Senior Associate at Cristal Advocates and ABMAK Associates. Her experience includes oil and gas, energy law, immigration law, family law, estate management, corporate governance, banking and finance, and land conveyance.

She is also a published author on corporate governance and dispute resolution in the oil and gas sector.
